  Peter and Malcolm bring over 50 years direct experience of the business and retail vehicle markets between them.  
         
 

Our day to day operation is being run by Peter Curtis.

Peter has 23 years experience in the motor trade, encompassing leasing sales, finance leases and bespoke contract hire agreements ranging for sole traders to major PLC's and local authorities. He also has experience in operations, reviewing and negotiating supply terms, service and repair costs and residual values.

His extensive experience in re-marketing and sale of vehicles to the most effective channels at end of lease agreement, will be utilised in order to gain the best part exchange prices for you, our customers.

Having been involved in Fleet sales to major PLC's, leasing companies and financial institutions, Peter gives 4WheelDeals access to the very best OTR prices.

Peter was also General manager of one of the country’s largest BMW/Mini franchised dealer group, for 12 years, guaranteeing a level of customer service that is second to none.

 

Malcolm Hughes, after a five year stint with the Civil Service, entered the motor industry in 1983.

First as a trainee fleet sales person, then after five years with the same North London dealer ending up as fleet sales manager.

Appointments with Appleyard Vehicle Contracts and Swan National followed.

He spent three years selling American vehicles to US troops on bases in southern Germany before returning to the UK to help establish Brighton Vehicle Hire in the contract hire market for LCV and HGV.

BVH was eventually sold to Wincanton Vehicle Hire with a healthy contract hire book.

A year managing a Nissan dealer was followed by two and a half productive years at Caledonia Motor Group which then led to Malcolm moving into business for himself.

Ten years operating a brokerage specialising in both car and LCV sales has led to this position with 4Wheeldeals.
